Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at Govt. College Township, Lahore comprising following members is hereby constituted with immediate effect:-

2.         QEC will ensure the better academic management, quality assurance mechanism and annual QA plan, timely completion of curriculum and syllabi, implementation of annual calendar and curricular activities, execution of time table and regular classes, capacity building and training programs of faculty and staff, compliance to student/ teacher ratio and CTI matters.

3. QEC will function with following TORs:-

  1. Determine and ensure implementation of clear vision, mission and goals of the College.
  2. Improve academic programs and management including updation and timely completion of curriculum, courses and academic session in the College.
  3. Comply to standards of good governance, financial management annual, research, calendar for timely implementation of students’ admissions, curricular/co-curricular and extracurricular activities, classes and timetable in the College.
  4. Compliance to parameters of the annual Quality Assurance Plan including appointment and service structure of academic faculty and non-academic staff, up gradation of labs and other facilities offered in the College.
  5. Endure the quality assurance and quality enhancement of the physical infrastructure, academic facilities, learning resources including departments and academic programs better delivery of courses, check and measures to define better student-teacher ratio and regulating CTIs strength as required in the College for effective teaching learning process.
  6. Ensure the planning and execution of capacity building and development programs and professional training for faculty and staff to enhance skills and competencies to improve teaching and learning and student engagement in the College.
  7. Enhance public disclosure and transparency in its mechanism and functions, and community linkages and outreach.
  8. QEC shall comprise of two QEC Officers/Lecturers, needed to deliver the responsibilities, under the supervision of Vice Principal/Director and Principal as the authority.
  9. QEC shall submit annual report, along with effective measures and implementation plan for improvement, and periodic reports to the Principal of the College who shall in turn submit the same, duly signed and stamped, to PHEC.
