Admission Policy

Admission in various disciplines is given according to the declared policy of Govt of the Punjab and as per Board/University rules. The students are admitted on merit and only in the disciplines in which they apply.

Transfer of admission from one faculty to another is not allowed. Forms for admission to the Intermediate and Degree ( ADP, BS4YDP) are received within a specified period of time which is notified on the College Notice Board or in the daily newspapers. The admission forms will not be accepted after the expiry of the last date for submission of forms as announced in the schedule. The application forms must be submitted along with attested copies of the following documents.

  • Photocopy of Bay Form / CNIC (on half page) of applicant.
  • Father Guardian CNIC (on half page) of applicant.
  • Matric Certificate Detailed Marks Sheet (For Degree).
  • Intermediate Certificate Detailed Marks Sheet (For Degree).
  • Degree of BA / B Sc / or Result Card (For Postgraduate).
  • Character Certificate from the Headmaster / Principal of the institute last attended.
  • Recent photographs with white background for intermediate students light blue background for degree/BS and master students. Not attested. (One to be pasted with gum on the Admission Form, Name & Father’s Name on the back of the photographs.
  • NOC original from the Board if passed SSC or Intermediate Examination from the board other than Lahore (TWO attested copies)
  • Permission from Govt or private bodies in case of service in government or private bodies.
  • If candidate is already registered in any Board/University then he/she must attach copy of registration card.
  • 2% seats at all levels will be reserved for Minority Students. Separate merit list shall be displayed.

NOTE: Three (3) photographs and Three (3) sets of above mentioned documents are required when Roll No is to be issued.

NOTE: Photocopies of Admission Forms will not be accepted.


Age Limit for Admission

The candidates must not be above 18 years of age on the last date of the receipt of the application in case of admission in Intermediate class. The maximum age limit, in case of admission to 3rd year class is 22 years. The upper age limit for ADP/BS4YDP classes will be according to the rules of Punjab University. If a candidate is overage then university permission must be attached.

Reserved Seats

According to the admission policy of Government of the Punjab, 98% admission to 1st year (Intermediate) will be on open merit, 2% for disabled and 2% for minority candidates. For the admission in Arts an additional quota of 2% will be on sports basis.


Admission on Hifz e Quran Basis

16 As per policy of Government of the Punjab, twenty additional marks will be awarded to the candidate applying for admission on Hifz e Quran basis. He should apply on general admission form to establish his right. Such candidate will have to:

1. Produce original certificate that he is a Hafiz e Quran from a Registered Madrassa.
2. Appear before the committee for an oral test and must pass the test to be considered on merit for admission.


Disabled Quota

Two percent seats are reserved for candidates who are disabled. The disabled candidates should enclose with their admission forms the DISABILITY CERTIFICATE obtained from DISTRICT DISABILITY BOARD / MEDICAL SUPERINTENDENT OF SERVICES HOSPITAL, LAHORE with their Admission Forms.


Minority Quota

Two percent seats are reserved for candidates who belong to minorities. The candidates should clearly mark/tick ( ) in the relevant box of the admission form. General Health Profiling For College Students All admitted students shall be bound to submit General Health Proforma along with copy of Admission Fee Challan Form to the Academic Office. A Proforma namely General Health Profiling for College Students will be provided by the college at the time of admission to be filled by the students and duly signed and stamped by an MBBS Doctor and Psychologist.
